• Fix

  Fixed an issue where applying a crop in the image editor could leave the view unchanged at the original size. Selecting an area and pressing Enter (or the Crop button) now switches the view to that area as expected.

  Sequential file names (Screenshot_01, 02…) are now determined solely by the files present in the save folder. With cross-device sync (Pro), numbering could continue from an earlier number (for example Screenshot_30) even after the folder had been emptied; this is resolved. Renaming a file back to the name of a previously deleted one now goes through as well.

  Fixed an issue where, on the first region selection after startup, the crosshair could stop following the pointer near the top of the screen and the bottom-right magnifier could fail to appear. This was most likely on multi-monitor setups.

  In the editor, an inserted image or shape that extends well beyond the base image now keeps its frame and resize handles visible as long as they are on screen — previously the frame was cut off just past the image edge, so you could not resize from the overhanging side. Clicking an element also switches the toolbar highlight to that element’s type (image, number, text, and so on).

  The editor’s navigator (the small map shown at the bottom-left while zoomed in) has a cleaner new look. Hover over it and press the arrow keys to move the view — hold Shift for larger steps.

  Cross-device clipboard sync (Pro): clips arriving from your other device are now picked up right away even when the Windows app has been sitting idle in the background — previously they could wait until you interacted with the window or tray.

  Region select can now crop. Draw a rectangle, ellipse, or lasso and cut out just that area — everything outside becomes transparent, so saving as PNG or WebP gives you a ready-made cutout. Flip to invert and you punch the selection out instead.

  Added a Feather slider to blur, mosaic, solid fill, greyscale, recolor, transparency and region select. Soften the edge of an effect so a redacted area blends in instead of sitting there as a hard rectangle — it shapes the edge of a crop too.

  Transparent areas in the editor — from a cutout or background removal — now show as a checkerboard, so you can tell at a glance whether an area is painted dark or actually transparent. The pattern never appears in saved or copied images.

  After waking from sleep, the screen-edge launcher could show up in the wrong place. It now returns to its correct position on its own — previously it stayed misplaced until you hovered over it.

  Color adjustments got a big upgrade: new Clarity and Sharpen sliders, plus range controls for “Lift shadows / Recover highlights” — you choose how deep into the tones each one reaches, and even 100% never breaks the gradation. The HDR toggle also starts at a gentler default now.

  Added an eyedropper: wherever you pick a color, you can now sample it from the image you are editing — or from anywhere on your screen.

  Bundled fixes across the editor and clipboard sync: blur/mosaic regions crossing the image edge now apply fully to the edge, pasting an overhanging element onto the next image keeps its position, and re-copying a previously copied text now syncs to your other devices again.

  The how-to maker now opens “PDF (print)” in its own window. You can keep using the app while the print preview is open, and the save dialog now pre-fills the file name with your how-to’s title.

  Fixed spotlights in the image editor: with two or more spotlights, every highlighted area now keeps its original brightness — even when they overlap. Adjusting the darkness of any spotlight now updates the whole dimming layer consistently.

  The edge launcher now hides itself while you are selecting a region, so you can start a selection even where the launcher sits (it comes back when the selection ends).

  Scrolling capture gains a fast mode. On supported apps — including the major browsers — the page is captured in quick jumps, finishing in a fraction of the previous time. Unsupported apps automatically fall back to the classic method, so nothing changes in how you use it (it can also be turned off in Settings).

  Scrolling capture now starts from the top of the page instead of wherever you happen to be. Before capturing, the page is swept once end-to-end so lazy-loaded images and scroll-triggered animations settle first, which also makes stitching more reliable. Prefer the old capture-from-here behaviour? A setting brings it back.

  Stitching in scrolling capture is much improved: a page’s sticky header appears exactly once at the top, fixed bottom bars no longer bleed into the seams, and duplicated sections or captures that stopped partway are gone. Pages with heavy scroll animations or late-loading images now come out as one clean image.

  Updating is easier: run the installer while the app is still running and it hands over quietly on its own — no need to close anything first.

  The app is now available in English. A new 言語 / Language option in Settings switches the whole interface on the spot — no restart needed. The default stays Japanese, so updating alone never changes what you see.

  While a drawing tool is active, dragging now always draws — existing elements are picked up by clicking them first, so stacking a second arrow or mask over a busy image no longer grabs what is already there (outside drawing tools, drag-to-move works as before).

  The Insert-image button in the editor no longer stalls waiting for a sleeping external drive to spin up — the file picker opens right away, and the button now shows when it is busy.

  A batch of interaction fixes: double-tap Ctrl shortcuts now work from left-hand devices such as TourBox, the edge launcher no longer sticks open when the pointer brushes past it (and shows up reliably right after startup), and text selection while renaming a file is clearly visible again.

  Scrolling capture now works on secondary monitors, including portrait displays.

  Fixed scrolling capture failing on multi-monitor setups: depending on the monitor arrangement, the page would not scroll and the saved image just repeated the same content. A safeguard now also prevents a failed session from stitching the same frame over and over.

  Images can now overlap when you combine them. Set how far neighbours bite into each other with the new overlap slider, and choose which of the two sits in front (works for vertical, horizontal and tiled layouts). Saving a combined image is a Pro feature.

  The combine screen can now switch which folder it lists. Your picks stay selected across the switch, so you can mix images from your capture folder and the "processed" output folder into a single combined image.

  The combine preview can now be zoomed. The wheel zooms toward the pointer, dragging pans while zoomed in, and "fit" brings the whole result back into view.

  Every slider in the app can now be nudged with the left/right arrow keys while the pointer rests on it (hold Shift for larger steps). The bars themselves are easier to grab, and each one takes a typed value or resets to its default on double-click.

  Zooming in the image editor now pivots on the mouse pointer, so the spot you were looking at stays under the cursor as you zoom in — much easier for fine annotation and alignment. (The zoom buttons, the slider and Ctrl +/- still pivot on the center of the view.)

  Fixed an issue where the mouse pointer could stay confined to part of the screen after a region selection, leaving everything outside it unclickable. It happened when selecting while holding the "keep selection inside the window" key (Shift by default). The pointer is now always released when the selection ends, with a watchdog as a second line of defense.

  Fixed a flash on Windows sign-in, where a plain window or the region-selection screen could briefly appear before Capture Core settled into the tray.

  The clipboard-history popup can now be resized and moved by dragging. Click the small lamp at the right end of its header to enter resize mode, then drag the panel edges or corner. The size is remembered for next time, and while resize mode is on the popup no longer closes by itself, so you can settle on a position and size calmly (Esc always closes it).

  Added settings for the popup corner radius and for whether the full-text tooltip is shown (Settings → Clipboard).

  Fixed a batch of popup display issues: it could flash at the wrong position before moving into place, something resembling a plain window could briefly appear while dragging, and a dark focus ring could remain on a button. Dragging and resizing are also smoother now.
